Amanda Rae Ousley
Amanda Rae Ousley was born August 27th, 1991, in Pikeville, Kentucky. She knew from the time she was three, what she wanted to be in life. With influences like Loretta Lynn and Patsy Cline, Amanda follows her country roots. She began singing in church at age 12, and when her first solo performance was a success, she continued in school productions. When she was 15 her family moved from their home in Prestonsburg, Kentucky to Bowling Green, Kentucky, when her dad transfered jobs. Being only an hour away from Nashville, Amanda began singing downtown on Broadway. She snagged a regular gig at Tootsies Orchid Lounge to get more familiar with the stage. Now at 22, Amanda has her own band and is at work on her first demo CD, including songs she's written. She says, "It's an honor and a blessing to have come this far, but I've still got a long way to go."
